The origin of The Voice of Sophia

The Voice of Sophia

The Voice of Sophia was written in collaboration — not only with inner images, intuition, and memory, but also with ancient stories that wished to speak again.

The book was born from a dream — or rather, from a commission that appeared in that dream — to bring forgotten female voices back to life. Thus women like Eve, Deborah, Mary Magdalene, Hypatia, and Hilma af Klint found their voices once more.

What followed was not a linear writing process, but an inner journey: a search for tone, language, and rhythm; a weaving of stories and insights, of silence and symbolism.

The Voice of Sophia is not meant to be an argument, but an invitation to listen. Not to pass judgement, but to create space for recognition.

The Voice of the Writer

The Voice of the Writer, the second part of the book, offers a look behind the scenes of the writing process. Here, the collaboration with artificial intelligence also finds its place.

ChatGPT was not used as a quick fix or as a substitute for creativity, but as a mirror, a conversation partner, and a co-thinker. Questions such as: “What if Eve were to tell her own story?”, “How would Sophia introduce herself?”, “What tone suits inner knowing?” — these kinds of questions became the starting point for a dialogue.

The answers that came back were sometimes accurate, sometimes surprising, sometimes clumsy — but always a reason for reconsideration. Not to make the answer definitive, but to understand the question more deeply. AI offered no direction, but space. Not to control, but to unfold.

Looking ahead

The Voice of Sophia aims to remain a living story, one that continues to deepen and expand. This website grew from that same intention, as did the work on English and German translations, so that the book may find its way beyond language boundaries.

What is certain is that this project is not yet complete.

Those who listen to the voice of Sophia,
now that every ending is only a new beginning.
